Hollie Bonner – Surgical Assistant
Hollie is a 2013 graduate of Meridian Community College where she earned her certificate in Dental Assisting and is certified through the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB). She is BLS certified, a Mississippi Dental Radiology permit holder and has completed the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons’ continuing education courses in Advanced Protocols for Medical Emergencies and for Anesthesia Assistants. She joined the Martin Oral and Facial Surgery team in June of 2013. Hollie is married and has one child. In her spare time, she serves in her church and enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.
Alex is a 2013 graduate of Itawamba Community College with a degree in Surgical Technology. She has six years of operating room experience. She is BLS certified, a Mississippi Dental Radiology permit holder, and has completed the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons’ continuing education courses in advanced protocols for medical emergencies and for anesthesia assistant. She joined us in January of 2019. She is married with two children.
Mariah Clark – Treatment Coordinator
Mariah began her work in dental and medical insurance during the early 2000s. She joined Martin Oral and Facial Surgery in 2011 as Treatment Coordinator with her primary focus being to bring together the details of each patient’s personalized, treatment plan to ensure understanding and confidence. She also oversees insurance, coding, and billing for our office. She completes yearly continuing education courses to stay on the forefront of the ever-changing insurance industry and is invested in understanding the complexities and achieving compliance in coding and billing. Mariah and her family are members of the Starkville community. She has two boys who are in high school. Outside of work, Mariah enjoys taking enrichment classes at MSU, serving in the church and her family.
Rachel Ellis – Scheduling Coordinator
Rachel, a native of Monroe County, joined Martin Oral and Facial Surgery in 2011. She is a graduate of Aberdeen High School and has an associate’s degree in Applied Science and Nursing from Meridian Community College. She enjoys working with people and, as the Scheduling Coordinator, recognizes the importance of providing patients and referring offices with detailed, comprehensive information regarding their upcoming appointments. She strives daily to ensure that the transition from scheduling to treatment is smooth and convenient for our patients and referring offices. Rachel is married and has a daughter who is in elementary school. Outside of work, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Brittany Godwin – Front Office Coordinator
Brittany is originally from Pace, Florida and graduated from Pace High School in 2008. After graduating from high school, she attended Pensacola State College and obtained an Associate’s Degree. She moved to Starkville in April 2015 and joined Martin Oral and Facial Surgery as Front-Office Coordinator. Brittany aspires to make every patient feel at home when in our office. Her smile and positive energy are welcoming and she is always available to ensure a pleasant experience for each patient. During her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, traveling and visiting her family and friends.
Alicia Hardy – Surgical Assistant
Alicia graduated from Meridian Community College in 2009 with a degree in surgical technology. She is a certified surgical technologist (CST), is a member of the National Board of Surgical Technologists and Surgical Assistants (NBSTSA) and the Association of Surgical Technologists (AST). She has 5 years of operating room experience. She is BLS certified, a Mississippi Dental Radiology permit holder and has completed the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons’ continuing education courses in Advanced Protocols for Medical Emergencies and for Anesthesia Assistants. Alicia joined the Martin Oral and Facial Surgery team in July 2014. Alicia is married and has one child.
Danley Herring – Registered Nurse
Danley, a Registered Nurse, received her Bachelor of Science from Mississippi State University and Bachelors of Nursing from the University of Memphis. She is BLS, and ACLS certified and stays up to date on health trends through the American Nurses Association. She enjoys working with people and developing new relationships. In her role as an RN, she aspires to make people feel comfortable during their visit and her compassion for others is always on display. Danley is married to a Starkville native and they love being a part of the community.
Tracy King – Professional Relations Coordinator
Tracy, a Starkville native, joined our practice in 2015 as Professional Relations Coordinator. She is an alumnus of Starkville High School and Mississippi State University. Tracy has been in the dental field since 2000. She works closely with the dental community as a liaison to our office. She enjoys meeting new people and cultivating genuine relationships. One of her personal and professional goals is to help people feel at home and comfortable and therefore make any given situation more pleasant. She believes a positive attitude is essential in everyday life. Tracy is an active member of Sturgis Baptist church where she serves in the youth and children’s ministry. Tracy and her husband currently reside in Starkville with their two daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, playing the piano and singing.
Darcy Redus – Insurance Coordinator
Darcy has nearly 20 years of experience in the dental field and joined Martin Oral and Facial Surgery in 2013. As Insurance Coordinator, Darcy functions as an experienced and highly trained liaison for patients and their insurance companies. She understands the difficulties that face patients when left to address insurance issues alone and therefore, her primary focus is to assist each patient in this area. She is married with two children and a member of the First Christian Church in West Point, MS. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, reading and spending time with friends and family.
